Haringey Council Business Department
Haringey Council are updating their business information daily. For the latest information which will shortly also include information about the new business grants licences and other useful information.
Coronavirus Business Support
The Government have created a one-stop website for information, guidance and support for anyone in business including business owners, employees and self employed.
Federation of Small Business
The Federation of Small Business (FSB) have also created a whole section of support for small business owners and staff.
British Retail Consortium
The British Retail Consortium (BRC) has lots of information for retailers small to large. It also has daily updates and news items on retailers and work they are doing with the Government.

Many of you will of received a Business Rate bill from Haringey Council over the last few days. If your business falls within the sectors of Retail, Hospitality or Leisure (please see the additional tab on this page for full list of businesses), you will receive a new bill in the near future with the 12 month rate relief of 100% subtracted from your bill. if you have a Direct Debit payment due on the 1 April 2020, please cancel your Direct Debit. All businesses and self-employed people in financial distress, and with outstanding tax liabilities, may be eligible to receive support with their tax affairs through HMRC’s Time To Pay service. These arrangements are agreed on a case-by-case basis and are tailored to individual circumstances and liabilities. If you are concerned about being able to pay your tax due to COVID-19, call HMRC’s dedicated helpline on 0800 0159 559.
Restaurants and Cafes
If you are a Restaurant or Cafe and closed to customers but are running a delivery or takeaway service, you must let Haringey Council Planning department know when you start and when you finish. To do this, please send a email stating your business name, address and contact name with the dates to email@example.com
