Future Wood Green Business Improvement District (BID) Limited was founded in July 2018 to deliver a range of projects and activities within a defined area of Wood Green, Haringey. The BID, which has already secured a five-year term has an exciting plan to deliver improvements to encourage footfall, decrease empty retail and business units, create a clean and safer environment and to support local businesses.
The right candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to be able to adapt to the flexible activities within this role.
This is a client facing role and involves self-organising appointments and being first point of contact for current and new contacts, therefore, being proactive and approachable is a must.
Confident and precise computer and multitasking skills are a requirement. Phone manner must be clear, upbeat and easy to understand when speaking.
The day to day work for this candidate will take place at our offices currently based at Wood Green Works. The position is for a full time 12-month maternity contract with the opportunity to continue Part Time after the 12 month period subject to performance review at the end of the 12-months.
Candidates must be aware that though core working hours will be Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, this vacancy requires flexibility on event days where hours may vary. These events can range from early breakfast events to evening dinner events (once per month on rotation breakfast, lunch or dinner). Events will also take place on Saturdays during core event periods such as September and December. These dates are planned in advance with the BID Manager and Team Members.
