On Friday 17th January, a call came across Wood Green Town Centre Radio’s that a well known Shop Lifter had just hit Boots on the High Road. The BID’s Street Rangers spoke to the Local Police and both the Police and Rangers started going to the known places to locate him.

Thanks to the Radio Scheme, it wasn’t to long before another retailer spotted him and he was Quickly picked up by the Rangers and taken back to Boots where he was put in the detention room.

Police then came and took him away. He was later charged after he was found shoplifting over £800 worth of Goods.

Orville Miller, 39 years old from Moselle Avenue N22 was interviewed and later charged. He has attended Highbury Corner Magistrates Court and the result is as follows:

* Surcharge to fund victim services of £122
* Committed to prison for 6 weeks suspended for 18 months
