Do you know a Haringey Hero?

To mark the 60th Anniversary of the creation of Haringey as a London Borough we are celebrating the incredible contribution made to life in the borough by residents, community groups, voluntary organisations and businesses.

Do you know a person or organisation that is making a difference in our community? It could be a volunteer, local business, community organisation, resident?s group, or a person who just makes a real difference. This year we have a list of categories so that we can recognise the full range of Haringey Heroes. We also have two special awards to recognise the contributions that have been made to life in the borough throughout the last 60 years.

If you do not know the name of the person you want to nominate – someone like a street sweeper, or shop owner etc – then please give us as much detail as possible and we’ll try our best to track them down to sing their praises!

Questions marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed

Please note
Each nomination must be for one person or one organisation. Self-nomination is permitted.

Nominations will be shortlisted by a judging panel chaired by the Mayor of Haringey, Cllr Sue Jameson. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the awards ceremony in May where the winners will be announced. So we will ask for the contact details for both yourself and your Hero so that we can do any necessary follow up and also invite shortlisted candidates to the event.

Nominations close on Sunday 6th April at midnight. For more information click the link https://eforms.secure.haringey.gov.uk/ufs/HARINGEY_HEROES.eb?ebd=0&ebp=10&ebz=1_1743076979703
