Haringey in Bloom is the borough’s annual gardening competition to celebrate our creative, sustainable and beautiful green spaces.
Local businesses at the Trampery on Tottenham High Road recently transformed the overgrown raised beds outside their building into a floral oasis.
“Gardening is a really fun way of bringing people together. The plants have really brightened things up for us and passers-by and we are looking forward to watching them grow and establish!”, said Simon Stanley Ward, Community Manager at The Trampery.
“I was really inspired to experience, for the first time, giving life to a plant!” added Lilin Kazedian Mora, from Sister System, based at the Trampery.
Haringey’s Mayor, Sue Jameson, dropped by to admire their handiwork. She said: “It is fantastic to see the community coming together, enjoying planting and doing their bit to make Haringey greener.”
