Good [morning/afternoon], everyone,
It feels surreal to be standing here today, saying goodbye to a place that’s been such a big part of my life. Working in events and marketing at Wood Green has been so much more than just a job—it’s been a journey full of creativity, challenges, meaningful connections, and more than a few unforgettable moments.
From planning campaigns that raised awareness for the incredible work we do, to organising events that brought people together in support of a cause we all care deeply about—every experience has been both humbling and rewarding. It’s been an honour to help amplify the mission of Wood Green and tell the stories of the amazing animals and people behind the scenes.
I’ve been lucky to work with such passionate, talented, and genuinely kind colleagues. Thank you for the laughs, the ideas, the collaboration—and of course, the team effort that went into every last-minute deadline and every successful event.
Though I’m moving on to new opportunities, I’ll always carry a deep respect and affection for Wood Green and its mission. The impact this organisation has—on both animals and people—is truly inspiring, and I’m proud to have played even a small part in it.
