Penstock Tunnel is a vital connection linking Wood Green town centre, the Cultural Quarter, and the new Alexandra Gate development in the east with Alexandra Palace, its parklands, and Hornsey in the west.

Improvement works at Penstock Tunnel will transform the route into a safer, greener, and more welcoming space for walking and cycling.

A full closure of the tunnel starts Wednesday 23 July for approximately 6 weeks, with signed diversions in place. Work hours are Mon–Fri 8am–5pm and Sat 8am–1pm.
