Spotlight on Signatories

UniteVerse is a cutting-edge platform that promotes diversity, accessibility, safety, mental health, and neurodiversity.

In the fast-paced world of hospitality and nightlife, staying ahead isn’t just about the latest drink trend or playlist – it’s about understanding the consumer better than ever before. And today,

data is the key that unlocks that understanding. Smart operators are realising that when you really listen to your audience – through real-time insights and actionable feedback – you don’t

just improve the customer experience. You build trust, save time, create safer spaces, and ultimately boost your bottom line.

At the heart of this movement is UniteVerse, a powerful new platform that’s helping venues across the UK and beyond turn information into impact. With a dual approach – an engaging app for consumers and a data-rich SaaS tool for venues – UniteVerse is helping hospitality businesses create environments that are safer, inclusive, responsive, and primed for success.

A New Era of Inclusivity and Safety

The venues of tomorrow aren’t just inclusive by accident – they’re inclusive by design. UniteVerse helps venues create spaces that are accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, identity, or background. This goes beyond the optics of diversity – it’s about genuinely enhancing the customer journey and creating welcoming environments that people want to return to.

From accessibility options to safety features and mental health awareness, UniteVerse’s tools support a cultural shift in the hospitality industry – one where community, well-being, and belonging.

At Barham Protection Services, we believe that women should feel safe and be safe when enjoying a night out, with extensive policing backgrounds, we have seen first-hand the devastating impact of violence against women and girls (VAWG).

We recognised a serious gap in the security industry, a lack of accredited training to properly identify and stop predatory behaviour before it escalates. While many security teams rely on traditional security measures, the ability to detect and disrupt offenders before they act is a skill that must be learned.

We have worked with Highfield Awarding Body of Compliance and launched the first Level 2 Behavioural Detection Awareness (BDA) Accreditation to raise standards across the security and manned guarding and night-time economy industries.

Behavioural detection is not just situational awareness, it is a proactive, proven method for identifying individuals with harmful intent before they act. It enables security and licensed premises professionals to spot subtle behaviours and early warning signs that indicate predatory behaviour, criminal intent, or potential threats to public safety.

Our fight against VAWG goes beyond training, it is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we have developed a dedicated VAWG training package and embedded it in both of our BDA and BDO courses. This training transforms them into a proactive force for prevention, ensuring that dangerous individuals are identified and stopped before they have the chance to target women.

Ensuring that every professional operating in night-time economy has the knowledge, skills and confidence to spot, intervene and prevent harm to women and girls.
